Privacy Policy

leaps.gg maps your data-structures-and-algorithms mastery from your LeetCode history and serves tailored practice. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with. The short version: we use your LeetCode session only to read your solved history, we never store your LeetCode credentials, and we don’t sell your data.
What we collect
- Account. Your Google account email and a unique user ID, via Google Sign-In, to create and secure your account.
- LeetCode activity. With your permission, the leaps.gg browser extension reads your leetcode.com session cookie and uses it to fetch your list of solved problems and the dates you solved them. We store that solved-problem list and the dates. We do not store your session cookie or LeetCode password — the cookie is used only for the requests that fetch your history, then discarded.
- Mastery profile. The subtopic scores and tiers we compute from your solved history.
- Billing. If you subscribe to Pro, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive a customer ID and subscription status; we never see or store your card details.
How we use it
- To compute and display your mastery, track skill decay over time, and recommend your next problems.
- To generate tailored recommendations, we send your mastery profile (subtopic names and scores — not your name, email, or LeetCode identity) to OpenAI’s API.
- To operate your account and, for Pro subscribers, manage billing.
Who we share it with
We use a small set of service providers to run leaps.gg, and share only what each needs:
- Google Firebase — authentication and database storage.
- OpenAI — generating problem recommendations from your de-identified mastery profile.
- Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions.
We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.
Browser extension permissions
- cookies — to read your leetcode.com session so we can sync your solved history.
- identity — to sign you in with Google.
- storage — to keep your sign-in token on your device.
- alarms — to periodically re-sync your history in the background.
- Host access to leetcode.com and api.leaps.gg — to read your history and communicate with our API.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. To delete your account and all associated data, email us and we’ll remove it.
